Qubigen is proud to announce that Dr Jun Zeng, Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer, has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (FRACI), the highest professional membership grade awarded by the Institute.
The Royal Australian Chemical Institute is the peak body representing chemistry and chemical professionals across academia, industry, and government in Australia. Being elected a Fellow is both a recognition of Dr Zeng’s scientific and professional achievements, and an affirmation of Qubigen’s commitment to driving innovation in intelligent drug design.
The Fellowship is reserved for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to chemical science and the profession, while also demonstrating leadership and service to the advancement of chemistry in Australia and internationally.
Reflecting on this recognition, Dr Zeng said: “Being recognised as a Fellow of the RACI is an honour that reflects not only my personal journey from chemistry to biotech, but also the dedication and excellence of the teams and collaborators I have had the privilege to work with. I look forward to continuing to contribute to innovation in chemistry and to support the next generation of scientists.”
This milestone highlights Dr Zeng’s distinguished career spanning chemistry, biotechnology, and information systems, as well as his leadership role at Qubigen, where he is shaping the company’s federated AI, virtual screening and quantum chemistry offerings.
