Qubigen Signs Data Access Agreement with Flinders University

Qubigen is pleased to announce the signing of a Data Access Master Agreement with Flinders University, establishing a framework for secure collaboration in intelligent drug design. This agreement will enable Qubigen to apply its Federated AI platform and proprietary quantum chemistry-based drug design technologies to research programs in partnership with Flinders University, and sets the scene for ongoing collaboration between Flinders University and Qubigen to work on novel targeted medicines for a range of diseases. The initial focus will be on targets involved in neurological conditions.
The agreement sets out terms under which Flinders University may provide secure access to their data to help accelerate the hit-to-lead process in developing new drug candidates. The Agreement outlines use of secure, encrypted environments for all data processing, ensuring that provider data is isolated, protected, and never directly accessed by Qubigen. This will allow Qubigen to train and fine-tune AI models, and generate and refine novel candidates with tailored drug-like properties in a matter of weeks, without transferring or exposing sensitive information.
The partnership underscores Qubigen’s commitment to building trusted collaborations with leading universities and research organizations, reinforcing its position at the forefront of privacy-preserving Federated AI for intelligent drug design. By combining Flinders’ high-quality research data with Qubigen’s Federated AI and quantum chemistry platform, Qubigen aims to help develop novel medicines while ensuring data sovereignty and IP security for our partners.
